Computer Science Beaver Competition
All students who take the Computer Science Course at GISW participate in the Beaver - Competition. In the course of one 45 minute lesson, 18 questions at three different levels of difficulty have to be answered.
The questions cover all aspects of computer science: How does a new song spread among friends? How can an app tell if you are smiling? How many messages can a beaver transmit with the help of its garden gate?
This competition is not simply about knowledge taught in regular school lessons, but more about fundamental problems of computer science, packaged in an interesting and enjoyable way. The goal is to inspire students to explore this important and promising field. More detailed information can be found on the official Beaver website .
