Hours for walk-in traffic during Summer Break:
Monday through Friday: 10 am to 3 pm
First Day of School:
For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026
For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

The NEWBEES
We are pleased that your family has become a member of GISW. We're sure you've already received a lot of information about the school, but you may still have a thousand questions. We are here to help you!
Who are the NEWBEES?
We are engaged parents of students at the GISW and come from many different countries and cultures 鈥� and at one time we, too, were new to the school. Our goal is to answer any questions you may have regarding life at the GISW, to facilitate a smooth start for your child/your children at our school, and to integrate you in our school community as quickly as possible.
What do the NEWBEES offer?
- We are here to answer your questions throughout the year
- During the school year we organize NEWBEES-Breakfasts which are a great opportunity to meet other parents of our school community
- We offer members of our school community to join our WhatsApp groups:
- In the CHATBEES group you get quick answers to questions, hints and recommendations (for example, who knows a good chiropractor, where can I buy鈥�)
- The FLEABEES are like a flea market where you can buy and sell things.
