In our preschool, children aged two to four enjoy play-based learning with plenty of time outdoors. Teachers are native German speakers and speak German with the children. However, preschoolers do not need to have prior knowledge of German before enrolling.

Preschool instruction is intimate, with a teacher-to-student ratio of one to six for two-year-olds and one to ten for three- and four-year-olds. The daily routine is structured yet flexible. With teachers as their guides, children are encouraged to pursue activities of their choice and manage their own time. This fosters their self-discipline and confidence.

We offer half-day and full-day enrollment options at the preschool level. Our Preschool has five groups that learn and play together each day from 8:00am to 1:15pm. Many children also stay for our afternoon program until 2:45 pm, Extended Care until 4:45 pm, and Evening Care until 6:30pm. For families who start their day earlier, we also offer a Morning Care program that starts at 6:30 am. See more detailed descriptions in the Add-on Program booklet.

Children come to our Preschool with diverse language backgrounds. To help each child thrive, we offer individualized language instruction in small groups during the morning, tailored to each child's proficiency in German or English.
