Summer Break Announcement

Hours for walk-in traffic during Summer Break:

Monday through Friday: 10 am to 3 pm

First Day of School:

For School Entry Level (5-year-olds) and Grade 2 through 12: Thursday, August 20th, 2026

For Preschool and first Grade: Monday, August 24th, 2026

Athletic Teams

At GISW, we are excited to offer a variety of competitive athletic teams that compete against other private schools in the area. Join one of our teams and immerse yourself in this exciting aspect of GISW school life. Go Griffins!

Students in grades 5-12 can participate in one school team per season. Practices are held after school from 3:15-4:45 PM. By signing up, you commit to attending all practices and games, representing our school in competitions against other local schools, and improving your skills.

Communication via the TeamSnap-App

All team communication will be conducted through the TeamSnap app. Both parents and participating students should download it. When registering, use the student麓s school email as this will be the primary means of communication with coaches.

Important note for new students: When signing up for TeamSnap and you don't have your school email address yet, please contact the IT department at ykumas@giswashington.org directly to ask for your email.
